WHY DE WEEK ZONDER SPITS

Our roads and public transport network are extremely busy. Nobody likes being stuck in a traffic jam or crammed into an overcrowded train. Every day, around 1.1 million people in the Amsterdam region travel to and from work. And it’s not exactly a smooth process: the average driver spends 60 hours a year in traffic jams in and around our capital city. The public transport network is bursting at the seams too. Such a difficult start has knock-on effects throughout the day: it affects your ability to concentrate, raises stress levels and reduces job satisfaction.
